If you have been rejected from Picky Creators, this is not the end! It is possible to reapply to be part of the platform once 30 days have passed. Here are some ways to improve your chances of being accepted next time:
Connect Your Social Media Accounts
If you did not connect your social media accounts during the application stage, then your suitability for the platform is only being judged from your Image Gallery submissions. In order to allow the Picky Team (and future brands you will work with) to get a complete insight into your content, please connect your social media channels.
Upload Multiple Videos to Your Image Gallery
Video campaigns are super prevalent on the platform, so it is important to show off your video skills. Make sure you have at least 2-3 videos that best highlight the types of videos you can make.
Video Content Quality
Tied closely to the last point, just uploading videos isn't enough; brands are looking for high quality video content. Try to refrain from using slideshows of still images, obvious filters and low quality footage. Brands love it if the Creator also features in the video, but if you are not comfortable being on camera, a voiceover also works to give a personal touch to the video.
Work on Your Engagement
While the quality of your content is super important, the engagement on your profile is also a huge factor for you being accepted onto the platform. Users with low engagement are unlikely to be chosen for Social Campaigns.
Try boosting your engagement by encouraging interaction with your followers:
- Invite your followers to comment by opening a discussion in your caption.
- Use interactive Instagram Story stickers to create polls or inviting questions from your followers.
- Create shareable graphics and guides.
