When applying for the Picky Creators platform there are a couple of steps to go through to help build your profile and portfolio right away. Here, we talk you through the different steps in detail to help you understand the process.

Before Applying If you have an Instagram account you would like to connect to the platform in order to take part in Social Media Campaigns, you will have to do the following:

Create an Account
Brands and Creators can both sign up for the platform, so it is necessary to make sure you are signing up as a Creator when you create your account. If you are on the Creators sign up page, there will be a button to jump to the Brands sign up page and vice versa.
As you are creating a new account for the first time, click to sign up. Insert your email address and create a password.
Note: Even if you have an account on our Picky Skincare Community app, you will have to create a new account for the Picky Creators platform.
Basic Information: Let's Get to Know You
Some basic details are required to make sure you can apply for the campaigns most relevant to you. On this page we ask you to enter the following required information:
- Profile Picture
- First Name
- Last Name
- Gender
- Date of Birth
- Country of Residence
Link Your Social Media Accounts
There are two types of Campaigns available on the Picky Creator platform: Social Campaigns and Creator Campaigns. In order to take part in Social Campaigns, at least one social media account must be linked to your account.
Click the connect button next to any of the social media channels to begin the connection process. For more information on how to connect each platform, refer here: How to connect your social media to the Picky Creators platform. If you do not have any social media accounts to connect, or you would like to connect them later, you can skip this section.
If you have any other portfolio you would like to present in order to boost your profile, please paste the link into the box provided.
Content Showcase: It's Time to Showcase Your Skills
Your content Gallery will be the first impression the brand have of your content. Add a mix of images and videos that best show-off your content style and creativity.
While three is the minimum number of uploads required, we recommend using all six spots in order to fully showcase your abilities.
Skills & Interests
In order to help the brand best review your application to see if you fit the type of content they are looking for, we ask that you let us know your skills and focus as a Creator.
Your skills refers to what type of content you are most talented at, whether that be photography, filming or graphic design, among others.
Focus refers to the category the content you produce falls under. This includes both the general topic, as well as the style, i.e. video or image.
Finish applying by reading and agreeing to the Terms & Conditions and then press the 'Submit Application' button.
Verify your Email
Before you can access the platform fully, the Picky team will review your content to make sure you meet the requirements of being a Picky Creator. If your content does not meet the requirements, you will be sent an email with some suggestions on how to improve before you reapply.
In the meantime, head to your email and look for the verification email sent during the sign-up process. Click 'Confirm Email'.
